Bought a open box for around this price last year. Very good controller for the ipad mini i use it on, wish it had a bit more clamping or grip on the non plug side as it can shift during more intense gaming even with the provided rubber inserts. This is a problem on the ipad mini as thats where your volume and lock buttons are, that can inadvertently be pressed.

The original Kishi was kinda mushy (and mine eventually broke) but I really liked how it would fold up small enough to fit in a jacket pocket. I dunno if there's anything like that around that isn't wireless (and ideally isn't mushy), but I'd be interested.

This product is AMAZING! Why do I say that? Because of the D-Pad mainly. All other buttons feel responsive like any other controller, but the D-Pad is 1000% worth it if you like to use the D-Pad for games that require precise D-Pad movements like Mortal Kombat (PC via USB-C cable to Kishi)!!! If you find it difficult to pull off quarter-moon and half-moon D-Pad sweeps w/other controllers, I guarantee this controller will change that! I did not know that this controller went on sale this deep....temped to get a second as a backup! Super buttery smooth! I looked up my amazon orders and paid $120 for my Kishi Ultra in Feb 2025...From a function standpoint $70 is a steal! I don't use it much as a primarily PC gamer, but when I do, it's amazing!

It depends. I use this at home. It is oversized and super comfortable. The Gamesir G8 is smaller, but fits tighter. It fits a device like a glove. I take that with me.

I don't think the joysticks are hall effect or TMR. The new V3 pro does have TMR joysticks. Obviously $70 is great but the Gamersir g8 has hall effect joysticks, mrsp is $80 so it could go on sale and be less.

Looks like it only has the hall effect on the triggers and only an upgraded rubber for the sticks.

I already have the Backbone One. Is this a worthy upgrade? I use it to play PS games, so I like how the BB1 has the same PS5 button icons
