To summarize:

- 1000hz polling via dongle
- Also works with Switch 2 after firmware update (but only through Bluetooth, not the dongle).

Aka: If you want to couch game and not notice any input lag whatsoever, this might not be for you Switch 2 users, but might be awesome for those with emulation machines at the front of the room.

Correction: it does work with Switch/Switch 2 with the latest firmware and dongle, but requires a special pairing method.

You have to hold Y down when turning on the controller with the dongle connected to the console (either directly or through the dock). It will not wake the console from sleep though.

I've tested it with my Switch 2 and it works great, especially with the short throw triggers.

Your got it the other way round. It works ONLY with the dongle on the Switch 2 -- not via Bluetooth. Like the other comment said - you have to start the controller while pressing the Y button to put it in switch mode.

How does this compare to the Rare 40th year anniversary edition?

Me and the wife both have one of these. They have been fantastic so far. I may pick up another just in case.
