Anyone know if this has ADAS? And if it works? I need something for my mom and I'm thinking the lane departure, blind spot and following distance alerts might be handy.

It's right there in the picture: front collision warning, lane departure warning, and front vehicle moving. No blind spot though, sensors or cameras on each side of the vehicle are needed for that

Would this be good for a standard rear view mirror? I have a truck topper on my truck year around and pretty much renders the rear view mirror useless. I'm hoping I can just see a digital video of what's happening behind me more so than a dedicated dash cam

I have this camera and a truck with a topper and use it primarily to *help* with seeing behind. It has a very good field of vision, but the screen is a little too small for you to rely solely on it safely IMO. I can still see through my topper, though, so I utilize both. I would look up Wolfbox rear view mirror dashcam. Much more expensive, though.

It looks like there are several rear view cameras on sale with deep discounts that are eligible for the same sale. I scooped up a different one that's better suited for my use case.

if your car have front collision, lane departure, blind, and other sensors, is there a version without these too. In that case most people don't need more distractions. Am I right ?

I just installed the other Slickdeal you copied. I bought it with the hardwire kit. Ended up getting two since it was a good deal. So far it's working like it said. Seems to have a pretty good picture. Only went on a test drive and watched the video through the app. Speed seems to be right on. Both cameras have a pretty good view, front and rear. Been looking for and inexpensive decent camera for a while and this seems to fit the bill. Never heard of redtiger or pelsee. I'm liking the pelsee so far and if this works well the second one is going in my wife or daughter's car.

Thanks. My pelsee was delivered today so before opening I thought I would ask. I didn't not know they sell hardwire kit but I'm not as handy to install the hw kit or rear cam.

This one doesn't appear to have the newer starvis2 sensors. It's probably still good enough for most though.
