It's kind of crazy.. I have a pixel 6 pixel 8 pixel 10 and I I've never seen this charger. Pretty sad that Google Samsung and Apple don't even give you your charger with your phone anymore.

The point is so that they can sell you this instead. Maybe this has been so poorly advertised that most Pixel users just opt for a different 3rd party charger, which would explain why it's discounted.

I get that the price of things like phones are squishy and just have a nice $X99 price but presumably this brings down the cost of the phone instead of giving you yet another charger you likely have dozens of already. basically, cut down on e-waste. I do not believe it to be true, but if not including these cuts down the total cost of product and shipping that would have been passed onto the customers then I am fine with it. You can always pick one up if you need it still.

This is a nice charger, but truly the only party trick of note here which had distinguished the Google 45W model from comparable chargers was an extended Programmable Power Supply voltage range which helped Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL owners reach their fastest potential charging mode (typically 18V at up to 2A).

Yeah it really matches the rounded aesthetic on the phone, watch, buds case, and tablet. If only the Watch had a sapphire option and the tablet was updated with modern specs (Tensor G4 with 120hz min.). Maybe add some more unique features and then Pixel would have its own ecosystem of sorts.
