Got this keyboard when it was this price around black friday. Very solid, sturdy, and the keys are very good.

Cherry is just the brand of switch. This price is only for speed switches which most people will hate since they have very little travel time before they activate. You can basically touch type with these. It's why these boards go on sale constantly, no one wants speed switches. Red switches (normal linear) is $157.

Only for SPEED switches. The key caps are non standard so if you want to replace or fix them youll need the proprietary caps.

Since this keyboard was first released there has been a bit of a keyboard revolution with Hall effect switches and more. Unless you are set on the brand name you can find a lot of great boards around this price where a few years back this would be a great deal.

Keychron as a brand has become the normie go to for pre-made boards. They offer a lot of variety for a good price. Mechanical switches work great but the trendy new things are Hall Effect and TMR switches. Wooting for the last few years was known and the leader of the Hall Effect market however many third party boards are catching up. If you dont need a 100% board with a numberpad there are a ton of options both wired and wireless. Lots of youtube content creators and subreddits on the topic. Depending on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go, there has never been a better time to get into customizable and personalized keyboards.

this keyboard is so outdated for what it offers at even the $90 the price point and its a flat out megarip off at $160, many better keyboards or similar at around $30 without the name brand. Corsair still doesn't even have mechanical hot swapable removable keyboard switches, i have no clue what they are waiting for, they are just flat out milking their outdated keyboards. there are many mechanical hot swapable removable keyboard switches on amazon for under $50-$60 all the time that are better than this.

I had an RGB K70 for a while. My only gripe was the keycaps they use kept breaking. They did send replacements during the warranty period though. Not sure if they've improved the material since.
