Waterproof ones tend to be much hotter to wear, at least for me with the last few Merrells I've bought. I have waterproof Merrells on right now (very similar looking to these), and they're great for winter but too hot to wear over about 60 degrees out.

Agreed, I'd be all over this if there were the waterproof version. I've seen those do go on last-season clearance once or twice a year as they change color options.

You want to watch for their Tempo Sol Mid Waterproof to be on sale, they are extremely light and are the mids with ankle support.

Good deal but shipping is slow. I ordered these on Feb 4 for delivery to CA and 9 days later tracking shows they're still in OH. My previous two Merrell orders also took at least 10 days.
