It's only a few dollars, but would someone even consider them as decent alternatives? Can anyone give their hands on experience?
Only issue I've had with this and even with WaterPik, they get moldy overtime. I air it out every time but its what you don't see. This also goes for all coffee brewers as well.
Stagnant water = mold
To avoid this, you have to run vinegar every 1-2 weeks. It's also never as good as flossing but this is better than nothing.

9Z4NZHNN seems to work, but sometimes it can take a couple of tries for Amazon to accept it (unless Amazon says "not valid" in which case it's expired)
