Here comes the negative comments that this is a "poorly rated tv" this is a decent 86 for $700 on a reputable brand. Thanks for posting OP

For the same price I would rather have the 75" TCL QM5K, but I'm sure there are use cases where this 86" LG makes more sense.

LG 86" have been the best bang for your buck.
LG LED/LCD TVs have been substandard for years the probably do it on purpose to direct people to their "bread & butter" OLED TVs
