Thanks for the heads up!! I've been looking for quite a while for reasonably-priced (for nowadays) unflavored whey protein.

I just bought 8 tubs at local stores, ordered 2 more for delivery (the last two in the warehouse), and will buy 1 to 5 more in stores tomorrow. I love that it only had four ingredients (listed).

NOTE: The B&M Vitamin Shoppe stores in the Chicagoland area also have the *vegan* version of unflavored Gainful Vegan protein powder (pea and rice protein). It's the same price, $10.74 (discounted from $42.97). I can't buy it via the website anymore, but they had a total of about 10 in the two stores I visited. (I didn't buy any because it's only 80% protein (vs. 84% in their whey product) and because I'm worried about potential lead consumption, though I'm not certain that's an actual issue. 🤷)

Soylent should sue them for trademark infringement - really tacky ripoff of entire product label design

I'm glad my comment seems to be bringing some people joy or laughter. I don't see what's funny about it, but as long as folks enjoy it, I don't have to know why. 🙂

I am curious, though, what should I make less obvious? I'm not particularly good at reading between the lines, so if someone could explain this to me, I would appreciate it, and add it to my slowing growing sense of context. Thank you! 😊

That "rmaini" dude/gal is dredging up a tired invective commonly called "soy boy" as if vegetarians for example are automatically "girly" - you see, people with insecurities and sexual identity issues are the first to take clumsy swings at other people, overcompensating for their own greasy discomfort with themselves. Just ignore of course.

Instead of running around buying up multiple little containers, you could've saved yourself a lot of trouble and bought NOW's 10lb bag of unflavored 100% whey ISOLATE (this "Gainful" crap is a mix of concentrate, isolate, and casein) for around $120 on Amazon. Dissolves easily, zero gastro issues, better product for less hassle.

Thank you for the recommendation! I'll look into it. 😊
