I have three of them, and they work great. $40 is also a great price; I paid over $60 all three times! If you're not buying the hardwire kit, I would make sure your power outlet shuts off when the ignition is off. This prevented me from installing it in one of my vehicles.

Died after 1 yr of use. Doesn't record any footage even though it says recording. Cheap stretched 1080p advertised as 4k

Have you tried contacting Pelsee support? My experience with them has been good. They are responsive and reasonable in resolving issues.
