I like this ratcheting screwdriver, but the bit holder gets stuck when you try to move it, and the handle grip gets loose, then slips occasionally.

Does this use the proprietary bit type or the "normal" bits?

Agreed, it's a great tool, but not recommended for any applications where you need a bit extra torque, like a stuck screw or bolt.

Great screwdriver, good but not great price.

The grip on the ratcheting model isn't quite as good as the other Klein multibit screwdriver, so if you don't care about ratcheting look into that one. It's sometimes on sale (sometimes as part of a bundle on Amazon) for under $15.

This is quality, and the way the bits are stored and accessed is great. However, the mechanism to switch directions isn't great. It is kind of unclear where it is, how it works, and even once you know it is still unintuitive. It took me like 30 uses before an intuitive way to remember how it works consistently. I have big articulate hands and a lot of these that I can do one handed. This one its never going to happen.

This screwdriver is trash; the bit falls out constantly. I bought it on Amazon, and though I was disappointed from the very first use, the return window had already closed by the time I got around to it. Now, I'm back to using my old, cheap Husky screwdriver from Home Depot.

Skill issue, this screwdriver is fantastic. Have build several computers with it and no issues

Totally agree - good screwdriver. The rachet function is very usable, but a little rough compared to more expensive screwdrivers (you have to decide if that matters to you). The double-sided bits are a bit of a disappointment as it makes it challenging as the bits don't work well in a drill and other bits don't work well in the screwdriver (this part sucks). And finally, the handle grip that slides - this is the only thing that would make me recommend looking elsewhere - if you need to torque something it slips.
Overall, I've had for a few years and it's been a good backpack companion, but if I were to buy again, I would probably spend a little more for the MegaPro (https://www.amazon.com/Megapro-21...B004VJY1EC).
