ok deal, been $12.99 for most of the past 6 months. not sure I'd use them that often and I'd probably forget I had them or not want to go try to find them when I'm under the hood of a car. definitely worth it if you work on cars a lot

Automotive plugs are rarely in areas where you can fit pliers perfectly parallel to the plug.

Agreed. I think i would organize them in a convenient spot i would remember but be too lazy to grab them while under the hood of the car. But then i would go inside and make a sandwich because im hungry and think that I would grab them and then forget to grab them after eating my sandwich and going back under the hood of the car

That is my thinking. Location is usually the biggest issue.

Maybe these cheaper ones would work even better, given the 60-degree angle: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DMF3M2QP

I bought a cheap set of two a year ago (like $4 from tiktok). I just recently used them on multiple connectors while doing an oil cooler change. They were joyous to use over destroying your fingertips. Get a set with straight and angled for max reach. Auto connectors take more mental and physical dexterity than speed solving a rubix cube while free climbing el capitan.

Harbor freight's Pittsburgh push pin pliers work pretty well for this task and are a few bucks less, especially if you wait for the 30% off items <10$ sale, if you're not willing to pay this.

Wish there was an equivalent for hard to loosen computer connections. Many appliances have those connectors that require push lever to remove as well.
