Community Reviews

LG's 77 inch G5 is being framed as a premium OLED upgrade that stands out most for brightness, especially in very bright rooms or direct sun. The newer tandem OLED panel and panel warranty are the main reasons to step up from a C series set, while the picture difference can look small in side by side viewing unless the room really challenges the screen. The deal price is strong versus other retailers, though tax, installation, mounting, and the optional soundbar bundle can change the total. It reads as a solid G series value if the extra brightness matters.

I bought this after having ordered C5 77" for $1600. Not sure if I even need G5 though is it worth the $700-800 price diff? I know you get the panel warranty too but not sure if I really need a G-series
i checked c5 vs g5 side by side at BB. no diff at all...

I ended up buying it with some gift cards I had sitting. I can't wall mount at my apartment and the stand is $200 to buy from LG. Any recommendations on stand?
