How is an attachment like this compared to getting a bidet toilet seat like this [costco.com] for $89.99? I'm wondering is it worth it to pay more for some reason?

Only reason I could see for the seat ones is possibly less gaps to have to worry about cleaning. This one kind of looks like it would have spots where it would need extra cleaning too though.

Even though it says that it attaches to cold water, the truth is that most of the water in it is room temperature water. It's just like when you run the faucet for a time to get cold water. If you use it for a really long time, which would be weird, you might eventually get some cold water.

Having used both the "cold water" versions and heated versions, I am perfectly OK with the simple cold water version.
