It's a fantastic fan, but there's definitely a red tax.

I think the Ryobi whisper hybrid fan is the perfect price/performance spot

This Milwaukee has a brushless motor and pushes 850 cfm vs only 570 cfm at an air speed of 20.5 mph vs 10.2 mph. In this case, the "red tax" is really just a "performance and quality " tax.

This summer I bought this and returned it. I did not think it was great especially for the money I paid for it. I already owned a top off , I bought a 20$ 110v window box fan plug it in to the top off it puts out twice the air this does, works great!

Seems like the box fan was simply the right move for what you were looking to do, and this was not.

I own several Ryobi Whisper fans, they are a HUGE value. However, being I'm heavily into the M18/M12 platform, this fan will still see good use on my end.
