My 2 cents is to stick with lithium non rechargeable.
These are not direct disposable lithium replacements. Their capacities are about the same as regular NiMH (but at 1.5V) so quite a bit less than disposable lithiums. Expect them to be replaced/recharged often just like NiMHs.

A review showed that they were able to get 1600-1700mah depending on the discharge rate. This seems to be about average for these type of cells despite what they are being marketed as.

The $9.49 ones I posted earlier for the 8 pack are listed as 2500mWh and have gotten 1500-1600mah on discharge tests at 300ma/100ma respectively.

All PD chargers care so although it will fail to negotiate, the manufacturer decided to spend the extra 5 cents to add the necessary resistors so that it will fall back to 5V. That's helpful info for those interested, as that would have been a deal breaker for some.

Based on capacity reviews and my own discharge tests, your getting much more value paying 15% less but getting double the batteries with similar storage capacities.

At $9.49, I wouldn't necessarily call the 8 pack a deal though, since they've been that price for months now so its become the regular price. That being said, I would certainly buy more if I needed them especially over a more expensive 4 pack.

You're right. I should have read more carefully. I missed the different units being used. I assumed it was just entered incorrectly or a repurposed product page.

It's 3600mWh, about 2400mAh, but it's still too high.

Real world discharge @ 1A is about ~1600mAh. So about the same capacity as AA NiMH, but at constant ~1.5V

Just to confirm they do work with PD chargers, but at fall back 5V. Charged at around 2W.

But what capacity do these ones get at 100mA? If they manage 2400mA at lower discharge rates that's actually awesome for my use case which is in a few smarthome devices that don't like NiMH cells (sensors, remotes, and a pair of thermostats) with very low draw.

Based on the review, the 1700mah was at 100mA discharge rate.
