These should be just fine for a side salad. They might be a little tight for a poke bowl or a salad entre. They hold about 2 cans of 15oz. soup.

They look Portuguese and the brand name sounds Portuguese. If they were actually made in Portugal, they would be marked as such. The cardboard in the item description also has a yellowish tinge to it which means it has rice paper content. All signs point to China.

I have a similar set, by another Amazon retailer/manufacturer (I'd say drop-shipper, but they each have the company's name stamped on the bottom, so there's some point of manufacturing variation). They're really good bowls if the size fits your needs. For reference, I mostly use the bowls for oatmeal. They easily fit a 40gm serving (dry weight) + half a cup of raspberries, half a cup of extra milk, and half a serving of greek yogurt.

My review (only slightly pandering for the Vine algorithm):
These are great bowls. I've had them for about 2 weeks. They've become some of my most-used dishes. The colors and patterns are warm and inviting, each bowl is different, which I find more interesting than a "matched set." They're a great size for morning oatmeal, afternoon soup, and evening pasta or stew. The glazing is smooth to the touch. They have been through the microwave and dishwasher w/o fading or chipping. Highly recommended.

Update after almost three months of daily use. The bowls have held up great. We use them daily and run them through our 15+ year old, slightly janky dishwasher. No visible signs of wear and tear, no fading. They look as great as the day we received them.

This reminds me I was planning on calling all my ugly stuff "Bohemian" in 2026, like my 2012 Bohemian Toyota 😂

Unfortunately, hundred percent of the reviews are by free product reviewers.
I wish the manufacturers would offer discounts initially and use honest feedback instead.

These look similar to the Costco bowls. Are they the same size?

seems like a pretty standard price for a generic amazon bowl brand. there are a few others priced similarly without the inflated price-on sale rigmarole.
