Are these analogous to the cut-off wheels for dremels/rotary tools? In other words: effective yet short-lived?
Yeah. They are pretty much one time use blades and they don't cut the greatest. But even the expensive blades don't last very long unless you get the really expensive carbide stuff. So it's hard to say which makes more sense to buy. The best middle ground I've found is buying good Milwaukee blades on sale at a good price.
