It's all plastic. Got it today and I'm not going to bother opening it as the whole thing is plastic and the legs are very narrow which isn't ideal for a heavy monitor.

Note the one that isn't plastic is model STT003 which is ~$10.

Interesting they rate it for 44lbs, but the Amazon Basic one with far larger risers and wider base is only 22lbs. In fact they rate their plastic version and metal version at 44lbs.
