I got this recently and it crashes amazon prime and other basic apps 100% of the time. They might be working on a software update but just thought i'd let you know. It works better with a google tv stick, but i'm getting the apple 4k tv to put on it to make it a better experience.

I got one of these in November for a similar price with BB match and love it. My experience with built in smart functions has not been like this. We use them all the time and don't feel the need for Fire TV or Apple TV, which we use on other sets. Sure, the interface is not the greatest with the ads (disable them) and the magic remote, but it works.

Maybe try a factory restore and software update or you could have a defective unit.
