The G5 was an absurd upgrade over the G4; the G6 is going to be a very minor upgrade over the G5. The G5 has basically fully-depreciated from launch MSRP. Even if there could be a deal for $100 less in the future, it isn't worth it to 1. possibly miss it 2. it never happens.
It is a generational-leap product and will remain a top-TV for multiple years. You are unlikely to be able to get this performance at this price ever again. You know what the LG OLEDs are all about, this has been out long enough so that any possible issues are known.
If you are in the market, yes. If you are just wondering bc you saw a sweet deal - yes, because the upgrade is beyond believable. Check the C3 specs on RTINGS, compare to G5. It's hard to explain to someone, and maybe it won't matter for the content u consume, but having that brightness, and 165hz, in something like Cyberpunk 2077 - the experience is akin to the first time you used an OLED. It's a big deal.
(Obviously don't buy if you cannot afford lol)
