I have zero experience with this tablet but this appears to be better with regard to performance than the Fire HD10 refurbs that go on sale for 30-ish a couple times a year. An extra GB of RAM, faster processor, bigger screen, and best of all none of the stupid Fire OS nonsense.

It has 4.6 stars on Walmart's site at the $130 price point it retails at. The only complaint I found was that the screen is usually sharp but sometimes grainy in certain conditions. At this price point I think that's fine but if you are picky about screens you might want to pass on this one. Personally I'm using a $30 refurb Fire HD10 as a streaming media BT interface for a party speaker, and I have a Fire 11 Max that I would probably love if not for the Fire OS nonsense (I do like it).

Half tempted to pick one of these up for work, look at schematics on it.

This onn 11 inch tablet stands out as a cheap Android 14 slate for basic streaming, reading, recipes, Home Assistant dashboards, and other light tasks. The 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 11 inch screen, and microSD support up to 1TB make it feel like a solid spec bump over older Fire tablets and aging Samsung or Kindle Fire models. The main drawbacks are that it is reported to be slow for heavier use, stuck on Android 14 with no updates, and the open box listing has raised security and bootloader concerns. The deal also drew repeated cancellation and refund problems, so it is best treated as a low cost experiment with return protection.

USED, not open box. These are store returns. NO, they do not check the condition.

Absolutely would not enter my Google credentials in this tablet. These are store returns and nobody has checked the device for malware. Bootloader could've been unlocked. It does not have the latest security update. Y'all crazy paying for this.

I also got in on the $96 12.1 pro deal a few days ago but now I'm thinking the difference between the two doesn't really move the needle that much at least in what I would be using them for to justify keeping that one. 3 at 31 or 1 at 96? If these don't have bootloader unlocked and are decent probably returning the 12.

Deal isn't dead. I just ordered one. I had been looking at getting a Onn tablet from Walmart to replace my current Kindle fire tablet. It's beyond being usable, it's just too slow.

I'm in for one for basic surfing, kitchen recipes, etc. If a LineageOS ROM becomes available, that would be awesome!
I heard about the lineageOS, but there could be a malware or tracker in it, no?
