Now usually I would go ahead and get it from Lowes but last two times I ordered from them I never got the delivery and they wouldn't honor it post deal so I won't take a chance and I'll just order the lesser deal from HD

Home Depot will match Lowe's price on this. I did it for this exact item 2 weeks ago.
XR > Atomic in terms of motor, build quality, etc., across all of their lines. There are some atomic's that don't follow this, like the 850b impact driver which is a beast, but they updated their XR 860b finally and regained that top spot.

This is the XR, how does this compare to the Atomic one for sale at 110 at home depot? (this deal seems dead as well, OOS)
atomic has a black (abs?) latch where xr is metal. rpm is higher on xr at 20k vs 18k atomic. xr is 3 speed, atomic has a variable speed trigger. there may be more differences.

XR is made to look like metal, but it's plastic.
Not a HUGE difference in atomic and this, but for $10 cheaper for a 1.5ah & XR battery instead of 2ah & atomic, I'd go XR.
$99 is the good price for this kit, I think I've seen it for $89 but wouldn't hesitate @$99 if I needed this.
