bought this exact unit refurb for $450 last year
has huge capacity and 20ms switchover is enough to keep my computers alive without reboot/reset
it's literally at the maximum weight I can lift
only complaint is that you cannot update the firmware without it turning off the ac ports on reboot, so I never do that
and in the middle of a sub-freezing night it turned itself off for some reason but hasn't done that again
still trying to figure out which solar panel is the best deal for this year's buy, you want >12v input so you can get max watts, like 24 or 36 or 48v but not sure how to do that
it only has one solar input, the higher end models have two but 500 watts so that's good
It made no sense at the original price which was like 699 but it's a pretty good deal now.

For someone not too knowledgeable on the subject, aside from reading, I'd recommend just sticking to the Ecoflow panels. No issues with compatibility, and staying under the maximum ratings you can run smaller panels in series to get your desired input to one port.
I went with this one over others as the AC outlets are on the back and allows for cleaner setup.
If you opt to buy the additional battery down the road, the connectors are setup in a way that you cant place the battery on top the direction it was intended to. Not a major issue, but something to call out if matters to you

If you intend to use as a backup if power goes out, could last a day or so if you moderate when it's running the fridge.
If you intend to hook up to a fridge that is warm, it won't last as long due to compressor running constantly to cool the fridge down.
I use 4kWh of battery power to run a chest freezer, PC, and Internet equipment every night from sunset to sunrise. Generally wake up with 30% battery left.
