I've seen this go on sale for this price pretty often. I picked up two around October after doing my research, and the price was about the same then.

The company seems to stand behind their product with solid customer service and a good warranty. For what you pay, the quality is absolutely there.

Like others, I paired the base with a 5x30" acacia butcher‑block slab from Home Depot when it went on sale. I sanded it, added a light stain, then finished it with an oil‑based gloss poly thinned with mineral spirits. Three coats, then let it cure in the garage for a couple of weeks to let the smell dissipate.

Assembly of the base is extremely simple, and mounting it to the butcher block was just as easy. It includes all the hardware plus adhesive zip‑ties for cable management. If you spend two minutes routing the power supply and wires neatly underneath, the only visible cord will be the one going to the wall.

This was a fun, manageable project, but you will need some basic tools and skills. The final product costs more than the 3‑piece Amazon tops or the IKEA options, but the durability and appearance are on a completely different level. One spilled drink won't bubble or delaminate the surface like those cheaper tops eventually do.

Everyone who sees mine compliments them and usually asks how to make one themselves.

PS: If you're on the shorter side and buying this for better seated ergonomics, note that the lowest height will be around standard desk height of 30" (once you add a top). You'll still need a footrest to maintain proper posture. There may be other models that go lower if that's a priority.

That's the best way to do it. You can get one at IKEA or a butcher block from HD. Really, it's way better. If you're getting a dual motor stand, make the top as nice as the bottom. The tops they send with sit/stand desks are garbage... but I'm a carpenter and do the butcher block for clients all the time. I did just buy a cheap sit/stand desk from Walmart but wish this deal was available then, I would have done exactly what I'm preaching. 😅

I purchased this. Its nice. I bought table top from ikea. It was like 40 bucks. Only downside is the cables hang out everywhere. Will probably eventually anchor / screw them into the bottom of the table top
I built my top and mounted a power strip as almost as long as the desk on the underside. That way only 1wire runs down to power the strip everything else is pretty much hidden.

Tabletop deals?
I spoke wrong HD didn't carry the Acacia 5x30" I ended up getting them at Lowe's. https://www.lowes.com/pd/allen-ro...5001792767

I held onto my hardware till the tops dropped to $200. (They go on sale often) At the time I couldn't find a cheaper piece of Acacia anywhere else.

That was the best top for the price I could find, for the durability, and best looking. The Hevea is rubber wood and may be cheaper not as durable or as unique looking.

We have a place around here that sells these in countertop lengths for $200. It's a one off store though.

Just built this yesterday and attached it to an IKEA top. This lift is fantastic. Very limited wobble and the quality is great. I highly recommend it.

Says it's rated for up to a 70" table top but I just installed a 96" Karlby from IKEA (nearly 100lbs) and it seems perfectly fine. This Topsky desk is super solid.

How stable are these when used at higher heights? I'm currently using a 43" 4k TV as a monitor along with a separate 27" computer monitor on an adjustable mounting arm.
I am using this with a IKEA wooden top heavy and 3 37 inch monitors and a bunch of laptops on the table top. No wobbling and works perfectly fine

I bought something similar and then went to my local floor and decor and got a butcher block. It turned out fantastic. Much better than the flexi spot that I returned and way more sturdier and holds a whole lot more weight.

I have two of these at home for $200 each and I've had them for 3 years now. They both work really well and at $112 this is easily a steal. I put the ikea karlby table top on them and it makes the perfect desk.

Can someone tell me if the power supply is both 110v/220V or only 110V?
