Incredibly small battery for what it is but considering the RAM crisis and relatively minor increases in CPU performance the last few years, this isn't a bad deal. Kinda makes me wonder if you could use some sort of USB C controller mount and emulate DS and 3DS games on it since it folds like a clam shell. 3DS prices are obscene right now so it kinda makes sense

Given the failure rates on these screens I'd not take a chance on it, especially not for 3DS emulation

Who downvoted you? Wtf. Hey, this guy makes sense. The screen is fragile. Do NOT make it into a 3DS emulator. Buy one of those dedicated devices to emulate 3DS, there's always deals on it.

Bottom half of my Flip5 doesn't work anymore and battery is not very good. I am glad that I have replaced it with Pixel 10 Pro XL

I get the fold it's a better screen when unfolded. But the flip is literally just a regular size phone. Can't understand the appeal to buy this

So many people I know who had these said the screens are bad. I would avoid this.

Woman's pants pockets. They are the most shallow tiny thing ever. God forbid if they don't want to carry around a purse. I'm not even kidding, women's are the target bracket for this product. Be always on, fashionable, and not attached to a purse.

High failure it seems. Complete lottery. I don't see the appeal of that risk lol

Just handed my Flip⁵ to my son to replace his Flip³ -all still work well 3 years, no screen issues but battery is noticably undersized for power users. Otherwise, we love the form factor-it's a 3yr old phone from the future. (Replaced with a 2025 RAZR+💕 highly recommend but its pricey and loses all value after u buy it while the Flip can be traded in or sold easily)

Thats wild. I had mine since launch almost 3 years now and it is still going strong. No issues with screens. I put it in a case with a back bumper and have dropped it more than a dozen times. No issues with battery either. I keep it on low power when i have long days and it can go 10-12hrs with heavy online use. Only thing was that the screen protector came off after 16 months but I never bothered to replace it.

Only reason i got mine and still wont trade up because it was a steal trading in my Flip 4 for the 5. After that Samsung got stingy and didnt offer the same value for trading up to the 6 or 7. Will rock my Flip5 512gb until it breaks.

Why not just buy a dedicated mp3 player for like a fraction of the price?
