Because of which, it's likely to drop/fall easily, so fragile that it cracks open right then.

I had an seemingly older version of this, and I recently got the new one. I really liked the old once as the backing and magnetic strength was a lot stronger and more solid feeling than the new one. The new one does feel strong on the other sides but the magnetic side is quite worse imo.

I mentioned above too. The older version seemed to be built with a stronger magnet. A bit disappointed with this this one.

So we have a comment that the magnet is so weak that it will just fall off and another comment that the magnet is so strong that the battery will rip itself apart if you try to pull it off the phone.

Below par product. Bought and returned last time it was on deal. Magsafe is not strong enough. Bank's case is flimsy and has empty space under the edges, so naturally gets pressed under the chassis. I did not feel confident in its button either; you would know when you press it. Overall bad design and quality.
