I feel no difference between this and my 16gb M4 macbook air. My workload on both machines is using a shortcut to open 60 tabs in brave at once, however. Both laptops perform the same with that task, and I imagine it's somewhat ram intensive

FYI: Apple has a March 4 event scheduled with rumors (Bloomberg) that they will launch a new low budget laptop.

Will not be as cheap of course, but something to keep in mind as it will likely put pressure onto pricing for all older used/refurbished devices.

Received mine today. Has 1 battery cycle but warranty is expected to expire 5th April 2026. Is there way to update purchase date? Walmart order doesn't have the serial number of the MacBook

If the rumored New "budget" Macbook that may be announced at the Apple March event is less powerful than this old M1 MBA, this M1 might be the better buy.
