yes to both.

however, they're not durable. I've owned many air maxes over the years but these newer ones aren't lasting nearly as long. the tread under your heels will wear out fast and the the air bubble at the heel will leak. They used to warranty that where they'll give a Nike credit when I mail a deflated air max for warranty claim, even if they're heavily worn. but they've stopped doing that all together, my 6 months old air max that deflated was declined.

I'd say get these if you only plan to walk around in them, they'll be great. but if you plan to do any kind of running, forget about it.

If anyone has experience with these, are they supportive / comfortable without a third-party padded insole?

These are fairly heavy, easy to scuff up, not very water resistent and breathability is horrible.

Nike has so many better shoe offerings. There's a reason these are being offered at a steep discount.

Absolutely was thinking about walkers and not trainers. Thanks!

There is a big design flaw with these shoes. The laces attach to the shoe through loops formed out of a continuous piece of fabric / string that runs along each side of the tongue area. That piece of fabric / string is very thin and is only attached with glue. It will break or pull loose from the glue when you tighten the laces. OK design for casual shoes, but not suited for athletic shoes that need to be tight. Its a shame because I really wanted to like these shoes.
