BTW, 10a is mostly just the same as the 9a design-wise, plus same chip and similar display (a little brighter) and cameras. The screen glass is a little stronger and they added satellite SOS... if anyone really ever needs it.
IF anything, it can be considered a downgrade in a way because while the 9 and 9a use the same Tensor 4 cpu, like most all of their flagship / a phones. While the Pixel 10 uses the new Tensor 5 though, the 10a now is left behind. Stuck with the same older Tensor 4 chip as the 9s.

Also BTW, Google hoes still asking $499 for the 9a too. Stick Out Tongue

Man, we have pixel 6a, 7, 7a, 7Pro and I keep looking at comparisons to try to justify being interested in trading one of them in for this but it just seems like there hasn't been much progress in 3 or 3.5 years in the phone world.

I wonder if they're pushing the higher coupons to people that have older phones? I haven't spent more than $20 in the past 20yrs on the google store lol, and also I originally bought my pixel from bestbuy. It's pretty funny BB only offers me $90 trade in, I'm pretty sure in the past it was like $70 so I wonder if the demand is up or what.

It's a cheaper base price if "connect to At&t later". Does anyone know if this also counts for a no-contract AT&T plan? I use a BYOP plan wirh them

I hate how you can't rearrange apps in the app drawer on pixel phones. Turned me off. Rather stay with Samsung
You could download a launcher for a few bucks if that's your only concern

Look at their depreciation rates and compare whether it is more beneficial to keep phones until they break and have to buy a new one when there may not be a sale vs continually upgrading them slowly over the years so they stay somewhat current and recouping the costs by selling or trading in. Phones aren't going away in our lifetimes so you need to start playing the long game.

That's kind of what I've done and why I have more than I need- it used to be you'd get trade values at like $300 and those seem long gone. Especially when a 7 to a 10a is basically a lateral move and a 7 Pro to a 10a looks like a big DOWNgrade.
