8GB ram is the real killer, 256GB storage is usable and upgradable. RAM is soldered onboard and doesnt seems to have additional slot.

No, it is not. The user only has access to the SSD and fans: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Dyn...471.0.html

Something that is easily upgradeable, killed it?
The Ultrabook 2-in-1 form factor, all magnesium-built, 400-nits display, excellent port selection, and more, yet you decided to nitpick the most unreasonable thing. Your comment is in no way helpful to anyone.

For this price, the specs beat out any Chromebook for casual web surfing. The only catch for me is the "Good" condition. Anyone know how dinged up or scratched the screens are?

I pulled the trigger on this one with the $10 eBay App coupon code. Fingers crossed that the condition is better-than-good 😂 I wish RAM was upgradable, but at 2.2lb this would make for a great portable Linux machine.

Walmart has free returns in store for 90 days, eBay looks like buyer pays return shipping. Also 5% back at Walmart with PayPal debit.... Hmmm ..

If you want a Linux or BSD laptop, just to have a daily driver that's not going to force you to dump Windows cold turkey... this may be the best deal for months to come.

8GB of RAM stinks, but it's far less of an issue on Linux. Two TB4 ports means it can run for eons as a home server or whatever later on.

In for one, and I grabbed a 32GB Dell 11th Gen with exterior blemish for $200 right before the RAM jump late last year. The Dell is getting Linux and this is getting BSD.

This is really tempting.. has anyone used the Allstate warranty before? Is there a deductible? Do you have to pay for shipping?

Warranty is worthless since this is used, not refurbished. Label your submission correctly. Old battery, dented case, crusty keyboard.
eBay Refurbished Allstate Warranty covers used stuff.

But all you'll get is a refund of purchase price after much pestering.
