8GB ram is the real killer, 256GB storage is usable and upgradable. RAM is soldered onboard and doesnt seems to have additional slot.

For this price, the specs beat out any Chromebook for casual web surfing. The only catch for me is the "Good" condition. Anyone know how dinged up or scratched the screens are?

I pulled the trigger on this one with the $10 eBay App coupon code. Fingers crossed that the condition is better-than-good 😂 I wish RAM was upgradable, but at 2.2lb this would make for a great portable Linux machine.

If you want a Linux or BSD laptop, just to have a daily driver that's not going to force you to dump Windows cold turkey... this may be the best deal for months to come.

8GB of RAM stinks, but it's far less of an issue on Linux. Two TB4 ports means it can run for eons as a home server or whatever later on.

In for one, and I grabbed a 32GB Dell 11th Gen with exterior blemish for $200 right before the RAM jump late last year. The Dell is getting Linux and this is getting BSD.
