i bought the 85" right before super bowl. the picture is amazing for this price bracket. local dimming is a game changer in cheaper TV's.

i have had significant issues utilizing ARC (Audio Return Channel) from the TV to my receiver via HDMI. i know this standard is generally a mess but the 75" TCL it replaced never had a hiccup. it is located in my theater room and has a 100" optical HDMI cable from that room to my network/AV closet. still working through this issue with amazon/hisense but its not looking great. likely will have to be returned and i'll have to shell out for a comparable TCL.

What's this TV actual refresh rate at 4K? 60hz, right? I keep reading 144hz, but that can't be right.

I've had HDMI cable issues in the past until I spent $20 on this HDMI cable and no problems ever ,...https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S196...tle_4&th=1

And I have used this cable on 3 different Hisense TVs

anyone have reviews of the 75in?
the 75+ is different from all the smaller sizes...

The 75, 85, and 100-inch models are advertised with completely different specs, including a higher refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, and more dimming zones, so most of these results aren't valid for those sizes.
why do they have the same model # ????

The Hisense QD7QF is an alright TV overall. It performs best in a moderately-lit room, but it's also an okay choice for dark room viewing thanks to its Mini LED backlight. It's okay for gaming, with low input lag and a few gaming features like VRR, but there are some oddities with its supported resolutions that limit its compatibility with consoles. It also has disappointing motion handling, with a slow response time that results in blurry movement, which is especially noticeable when gaming or watching sports. The screen also has mediocre uniformity, and although this is usually mainly noticeable when watching sports, in this case, it's bad enough that you'll see it with most content.

It just might be my luck. I had 3 Hisense and all had issues after a year. Tv would turn off on its own and one would not turn on at all. Im sticking with Sony.
