Almost 6 lbs. Not very portable. And 1920x1200 on an 18" screen will not be sharp. But, if you need a cheap 18" laptop, the price is decent.
Can't tell if for $649 you get 16GB (onboard) or 32GB (16GB onboard + 16GB SODIMM)?

EDIT: It seems it is 32GB (16GB onboard + 16GB SODIMM)

A 18" is perfectly good for many users. Anything less than 17.3 is unusable for me and many people like me when on the go because we need 20+ chrome pages, development, word, and other windows open. I cant care less about what the density is. It's a freaking work horse not something you enjoy movie or play games on. I have a iPad Pro and a oled monitor for that.There are many of these work horses that you can't judge solely based on spec. I have been assembling PCs and laptops (yes, including Clevo and MSI Sli/Crossfire laptops) for two decades, and I prefer this much over the $490 Acer 14 with 32gb ram and a "allegedly" better lunar lake (which is the most garbage product from intel for years, believe it or not).

If it was at least 2k resolution it would be good. Or if you have poor vision and want a larger low resolution screen.

Your personal preference doesn't make what I said any less true. People all over Slickdeals complain that OLED screens on laptops have fuzzy text, etc., so it DOES matter to many how sharp it is. I was merely pointing out that for a giant laptop screen @ 1200p, not to expect sharp text and it had nothing to do with watching movies or play games (which i don't do either on any laptop).

Also, an 18" screen at 1200p doesn't give you more real estate for your "20+ chrome pages, development", etc., it just makes everything bigger. Put those same 1200p pixels on a 55" TV and you still can't open more tabs or fit more windows...you need more resolution (pixels) for that.

Actually, 1920x1200 is called "2K" by many because 1920 is very close to 2000. You're thinking 2560x1600 which is now called 2.5K. But I agree with you ... 2560x1600 would be much better for this.
