Found a cardboard display of these back in a building materials aisle, originally $20.

Lowes site shows them as no longer sold despite the store having inventory, big YMMV.

These are very poor stud finders, highly recommend either just using a magnet or Franklin stud finders.

Im surprised at the other comments. This is the one i got as a new home owner 5 years ago and it still works great. Used for countless projects. That being said, i dont know what im missing out on since i have only used this.

Save your money these are crap stud finders. Get the Franklin multi led bar style finder you will thank me later. I bought one of these and it gave false ghost readings all the time so I returned it. The Franklin is much more accurate.

Why so negative? The OP spent his time sharing a deal on <$10 stud finder. I've used a Zircon for over 20 years and had no issues ever finding a stud in the wall. Does it take a few more passes? Yes. Do I have to use common sense about drag speed and object width? Yes. Do I do this for a living? No. If you properly zero out the Zircon on the surface before starting a scan (just like the Franklin requires) it works great for me. I will say that the Franklin is more intuitive and requires less skill, but my Zircon will find any stud the Franklin locates. $7.00 for a tool that can save time and effort is a slickdeal.
