Wow, I had no idea Brita even had glass pitchers! Good to know.

I think one of the main problems is that the filter is still part plastic, no? Seems like the water would still come into contact with plastic in this case.

Brita is not a good filter if you are actually filtering, they are similar to dr scholls, inferior product but massive marketing budget

Yes, unfortunately, the filter is still plastic. So, it's not the ideal option, but it's absolutely an improvement. And, removing plastic from one's life is all about incremental wins.

I'd also add that Brita is now introducing bio-based plastic filters.
