I'm in the market for a 65 inch TV for my living room
Is this a good option or what's another I should look at? I'm trying to keep it under $400
Very respectfully, That's the same as saying that "I'm in the market for a car" w/o details. What's your budget, is this your primary or backup, room lighting like, viewing angles, activities (gaming, mirror laptop, movies...), etc etc.
If you're looking for a half decent budget TV as not your primary TV, and don't mind lower specs, this might be for you.

If you're just looking for a big TV, then yes. Great brand, great price but still vet out this exact model to see if its cheaper at Costco like someone else mentioned. Now if you're looking for fancy, or specific features, or refresh rates for gaming, or how it handles black backgrounds (dark thriller movies) than no this is probably not the right TV. Some of us just need a big tv and this fits that bill.

Someone point me to the deals where the cars cost the same as a tv lol. That was a real stretch. 65" and under $400 budget this guy doesn't care about room lighting.

Haha, I guess that's a fair point. Apples to oranges comparison on my part

I got this a few weeks ago to replace a 55" TCL that I had in my workshop. It's a decent tv overall but 3 things drive me crazy.
1. The speakers are weak AF. I have to basically max it out to hear anything. The TCL I would listen in the 50-70 range and it was louder than the Samsung at 100.
2. The remote doesn't have a microphone button. They want you to buy a smart remote for that. Just add the damn button.
3. The remote sensor sucks. With the TCL I could be anywhere in the shop, point it in any direction and it would respond. With the Samsung, I have to point right at it and basically hold the remote to my head level for it to pick up. Not the biggest deal in the world but it breaks my concentration when I'm trying to work.
Other than that it's a decent tv, but if I could still return it, I would.
Not sure if the Sam's version is the same, but $277 at my local Sam's club for the 65 inch.
Thanks for having me check Sam's club i could not find the 65 inch for $277 at my club but i did find a 70 U7900FD on clearance for $175 only 2 were left and the young man who help me lift it onto a flatbed said it was a great deal and took the other one.

I see one of my local club showing as $149.91 when checking in app but don't show any in stock. Any idea if the app inventory is accurate or it's worth going to club and check? It's about 50 miles from my place
