The headset creaks a lot, the auto-off is annoying, the Brrrr sound it makes on wake is annoying. The volume slider doesn't seem to control volume when nothing is playing. The lone button to pause/play/everything else is in an awkward (non-ergonomic) place.
Even with the aggressive sleep, battery life is no better than my 4 year old QC 35II.
The NC , when nothing is playing, makes a strong background hum.
QC35II for a few more years, I guess. Planning to return the "Ultra"

As a super cheap person who returns a lot of stuff, these are worth every penny.
I have other headphones that sound better of course but these sound just good enough and are very easy to listen to for long periods because they are in fact the most comfortable headphones ever not just in fit but also in tuning. They're warm-ish sound with no peaks.
Combine that with best in class ANC and the best smallest case in the business, no brainer. One of my favorite ever tech purchases besides my RTX5090 Legion Pro 7i and LG 45" OLED 5k2k monitor.

Some sellers are notorious for really abusing Ebay-wide coupons by jacking up the price during the coupon so there is zero net discount and then advertising a "discounted price" in the item image, most notably EcoFlow. This technically violates Ebay rules for listing manipulation, but they get a slap on the wrist most of the time.
Bose, thankfully, does not jack up prices so the sales can be really good sometimes when there is a coupon from Ebay on top
I've had these a week and really like them. They're not perfect, but the only faults I can really find them are limitations with these kinds of headphones. The ANC noise cancellation is about as good as it gets. Do not expect 100% quiet, especially with sudden, inconsistent sounds, but they do a good job of blocking out the bulk of noises across the frequencies. They are extremely comfortable , soft, light, and easy to wear for extended periods of time... even to sleep! The sound signature // frequency response is not perfect to my personal preferences , it is bass heavy and peaks at the top, but it is smooth enough to EQ if it bothers you enough. For a closed back headphone they sound good. As someone who struggles to find any peace and quiet in my house living with several dogs who bark more than they should, and family who is quite loud, these do a good job to help me block out the noise and be able to rest. I've owned other bose anc headphones in the past, as well as the sonos ace, and sony XM5... They all do a fine job. These ones just seem to do it all a little better. If you're looking for ANC headphones these are the ones to get. IF you do not need closed back , noise canceling headphones, there's a lot of other open back headphones that sound better but for the specific purpose these serve they are among the best in my opinion.
