I did call the CS numbers. They doubled check everything, order still not go thru. They don't know why. My credit card shows my card has been charged and refunded right away. It's Metro's

Weird. I just called the regular metro line.

All I can suggest is maybe wait until tomorrow and try a different rep.

I also got the charge/refund thing several times, as the rep was having issues.

First issue was that they were linking to my apple phone and that won't work with the galaxy watch (I simply explained I don't care, and then gave him a number to an android phone I owned - which isn't even active).

Then he tried again a couple of times, and eventually I got an order email. Although I can't say with 100% certainty they'll actually send it to me. Who knows...

I had a similar situation and the same issue with payment. I ordered over the phone and my payment was charged/refunded five times to my AmEx. When I called about it, the Metro rep just gave me a credit instead, but now they told me they can't activate the watch since the system says I never paid for the initial charges. The derpy reps told me the only thing I can do is return the watch and place a new order. Hopefully you have better luck than I did.

When I checked my bill just now I also don't see an actual charge. I mean I see a ton of charges/refunds, but no final charge. But they also didn't actually ship it yet.

Once we have it, does it even matter if it's activated if we just want to use it with an existing phone + sleep/health/exercise stuff in the house? I'd likely use it simply with wifi ...don't care about the sim or unlocking, but had to get it since it came with the promo.

Your android phone is in your Metro's acct? I have only one iphone13 in my acct. Sorry for my confusion.

No, my android was an old total wireless phone. He/she will ask if it's in your metro acct, I simply told him it wasn't. And again, my number isn't currently even active.

Not sure how it matters as one I assume can set the number after they receive the device. It felt somewhat like the guy just wanted to sell me an Apple watch.

If I get it, I hope to attach it to my Samsung Phone I have here (A17 deal from Straight Talk) ... although the number on that one ran out. Hoping we can just do the wifi thing... not entirely sure how these work to be honest.

No need to ever activate it if you don't want LTE, it works perfectly with WiFi.

I gave it another shot, and was able to activate mine on a US Mobile standalone line via the AT&T network. Probably won't ever be able to use it on the T-Mobile network but that's fine with me.

As a sidenote, I had originally ordered two iPhones and they still haven't finished porting those numbers over either. What a mess. Might just trade those phones in for Apple gift cards and call it a day.

It's fine, but I didn't actually get it to use as my everyday phone -- I actually prefer my smaller SE3. And I have a pile of phones now from previous deals at total and straight talk.

Just for clarity, I was eventually able to activate the watch on AT&T (via US Mobile), but my two iPhones are still locked to Metro. When I first tried to activate the watch I got an error message, not sure if Metro made any changes as they were working through my ticket. Even if the watch is unlocked, I'm pretty sure it will be blocked from T-Mobile thanks to their incompetence.

Yes, I ordered the 2nd phone while I was logged into the first account. The Metro system automatically charged me $30 for it. If your watch has not yet been activated, I think you'll have to complete that first - the system won't let you place a new order if there is already one in progress.

Apple raised the trade-in value of the 13 to $195 - if I had more numbers to port in I'd get a couple more, then trade them all in for gift cards.

They may have stopped allowing that, as I just tried it and I am getting the 'not eligible' message. My watch has shipped and I was able to activate it before arriving. I also notice they did manage to charge me for it, on a card the rep tried first (and said couldn't work since it was locked -- virtual card). But now I see the charge there and the other pending charges dropped off.

I can try again after the watch is actually here, see if that makes a difference. A rep told me that they allow another phone, but on a 2nd acct, and with no 2nd line discount until after another 30 days, then accts can be merged. Which is a weird way to do it, but everything they seem to do is weird.

Well, I received my watch, and it's all activated. I set it up with my Galaxy phone (A17 deal)... pretty simple.

Just one little snag -- the watch says there is no mobile plan associated with the account. Which is sort of weird, as it is a requirement to get a plan when buying the watch.

Wondering if it's messed up because Metro automatically paired it with my iPhone, even though the rep had a whole big thing about how they can't do that? But it's set up, worked with my Samsung as far as watch types/updates and so on, activated and has its own number on the Metro acct.

So... no idea what is wrong here... not a big deal, but figured since I was paying for the line, I might as well see if it works.

Edit: Wow, what a nightmare trying to have a Metro rep try to figure this out. She never did... took forever too... waste of time to even try.
