This thing has been 500 most everywhere (especially best buy) since the end of November. 500 at best buy now. ($441 open box excellent)

this is basically a gen 1 ALLY with the STEAMDECK chipset
just get a used Z1 EXTREME ALLY and do the JSAUX battery upgrade and you get a better device for cheaper

ram was cheaper then, steamdeck doesn't even exist anymore

I am playing Lies of P locked at 60 FPS while running at 30W, and have 3-hours of battery life. Playing Hades at 7W, nets close to 6-hours. No, this is not the most powerful handheld on the market - it's basically equivalent to the Steam Deck. But, it's currently the cheapest handheld available at less than half the price of of top tier units, very comfortable for longer plays, light-weight, and it runs cool & quiet. It's great at what it does cheaply.

FWIW - I flashed SteamOS on mine, and would definitely recommend this upgrade.
