2023 plus which is the current deal is better than base 2024/2025 model in terms of processor see https://gadgetversus.com/processo...lus-gen-1/ but other aspects like camera and software support is better in new models.

Why do I have to choose ATT or Verizon? This is not checking out like an unlocked phone

It is. They added Limit Charging to 80% which actually is a blessing because if you keep it between 20 and 80% it'll last many years.

But it is short. This is a good phone for people who stay planted near chargers.

I already carry a Baseus Picogo and INIU ultra compact for my Dyson Zone, so I just charge from that.

It does charge very fast and has Qi.

Best use is if you carry multiple devices. It is dual SIM with 1x pSIM, so with a second device you can have every carrier active.

And it has 3.45 GHz for AT&T (n77 Rel 16).

I can add it just fine without any carrier selection, did you try the BB app? Not sure what might be wrong.

Not a great deal as a couple of weeks ago, Best Buy had the 2024 RAZR+ open box for the same price in the blue color. I got that one and the Samsung Z Fold7 for $780.
Didn't that open box deal sell out immediately/difficult to find in store?

Nope, the Motorola was much easier than the Z Fold7 or the Pixel phones. I got one is anyone interested in Michigan.

.
I never will never want this. Limiting Charging to 80% doesn't help that much and then right off the bat you have to charge more often. Yes it would be great to keep a phone for more than a couple years, bit most do not do that (admittedly I have several very old phones around the house for certain things)
I want to charge as infrequently as possible.
I turned this feature off in the phone but accubattery showed the phone never charged above about 80% of the manufacturers rated battery size.
Don't know what is up with that but it was a bummer.

My short review.
1st time with a flip. Purchased this a year ago new unlocked for a hundred more from Best Buy.
It has great performance and a nice screen.
The screen is 'long' I read alot of articles and even books on my phone and thought this would make
it better, showing more of the article but text was very small and changing text size setting made things wonky often. It was really annoying I never got it consistently right.
Flipping turned out to be a pain. I never enjoyed using the small external screen and it didn't really feel that small in my pocket with a case on it.
Found out I don't care for flip phones but for $200 if you are curious try it.
