I have one of these and find the high CRI makes it one of my favorites. I wouldn't turn down a more powerful emitter but the quality of light is great.

I also own one of these and it's a great every day light. Perfect for a pocket EDC, throw it in your glove box for a car flashlight or in the home for when you need it. It really is a great all round light.

Here is a detailed review (not mine).

Hard pass, its the most over-rated flashlight I know of. The light output when using outside is a dismal yellow tint. The turbo mode is hardly noticeable, and the button sucks, its so squishy. A less expensive option would be a Sofrin SC18, its superior in every aspect. I do admit, I like the physical characteristics of the light. The 519 emitter might mean something to some people, but not to me.

I wonder if that might be the CRI 70 variant of the 519A? Although I notice that the CRI 90 one is mentioned to have a bit of a reddish "rosy" tint. https://budgetlightforum.com/t/le...ity/223258

I purchased one of these recently and I have to agree with all of this. Disappointing compared to my other budget lights.
