Or get a couple pieces of scrap plywood and shove them under the cushions, that's what I did.

As long as the scrap plywood is cheap enough and not too warped. With plywood prices, my time to rip cut to size… raw plywood vs this being cloth wrapped..
i don't know this seems like a potentially better deal.

[QUOTE=CyanNest3122;182649739]Interesting. Seems like it would work.
Anything out there for sagging bed?

Can't believe I didn't invent this years ago. Way back in the 60's my Dad, who had the back from hell, used to put a large plywood sheet beneath his boxspring and mattress. Swore by it to keep the mattress in good shape and support his back. Smilie

Chiming in again to report that these things work really well on my relatively new but rapidly breaking down mid to low end sofa. I replaced the cushions with thicker and higher density foam, which brought back some support, but I was still getting sag from the inner springs of the frame itself. I have to say these things brought back so much support that I am planning to put the original cushions back into the covers and see how they feel. This thing is now in the XX Firm category. Cost me ~$80 for the two units on my L-shaped sofa and it was well worth it.
One thing I also wanted to say about everyone saying to use plywood, especially about mattresses: On a couch, it might be somewhat doable, although a bit ghetto. On a mattress, it is a big no-no. Your mattress and foundation need to breathe. If you use plywood, or just slam a mattress on the floor, you are going to have moisture problems. This product and others like it are designed to allow moisture to pass through.

take a drill to that thar board and make it look like a piece of swiss cheese - problem solved.

Probably not the best idea but it was the first thing every white trash bone in my body went to laugh out loud

What's the difference between all the different brands, they all seem to be about the same price.

Picked one of these up on a whim and weirdly enough it worked really well to give my sagging couch some new life. Yes, you can DIY this, but this was about as easy as it gets.

Looks like it could work on a mattress as well to firm up one side if you use a gel/foam topper.

If you are semi handy with tools, it's easy to replace the webbing of the sofa instead.

This is not a sale, it's an ad. This is regular price and there's a lot more lower priced ones on Amazon

I bought this and I can tell you it works. I wish I would have known about this product years ago. If your on the fence about if you should buy it or not, my suggestion is you should buy! You wont be sorry.

I made one in less than 5 minutes with a piece of free scrap plyboard from the Home Depot. That way it fits perfectly, which this one never will. Hard to believe all the absolute junk people buy from this site and all the shills that live here to grift in on the scams.
