I think the regular price on these things are $63 and I don't want to put down the OP but you can get these things for 40 bucks on any apps that sell anything that is new. I bought mine for $35 with an SD card.

And would he please link the site he got the deal from. I've bought plenty of Wyze cams since the V2 s and have never seen them for nearly this price n.i.b.
Had this model, it had constant connection issues, even when I tested it indoors sitting within a few feet of my wireless router, and I've never had issues with any others (v2-v4, OG). Check out the reviews, I'm not alone. I suggest steering clear of this model.

Correction, never seen this particular camera for this low of a price.
I have three of these, in white. I strongly dislike them, as they're advertised to be compatible with Wyze's solar panel.
To put it simply, they're not compatible with the solar panel.
Elaborating -- some manufacturing runs of this camera ARE compatible, some aren't. You don't know and can't tell which until you use it. Wyze support was UTTERLY USELESS figuring this out, and even when they swapped the camera as being defective, they sent another that was also incompatible.
(Three solar panels. Three 2K outdoor cameras. Tested and troubleshot in a variety of configurations. It wasn't code level. The only way I found out about some being compatible was on various forums/message boards on the web...of people going through the same problem. Turns out, it only recharges via solar when you're ACTIVELY VIEWING the camera feed. As soon as you close the mobile application, it stops charging. 🤣)
Final result: We punted back to the older outdoor camera which we originally replaced (sans removable battery), and the solar panel worked like a charm.
Sadly an online search confirms what others have said regarding connectivity problems and also some battery life issues. Will have to wait for the next version of this one sadly to see if these issues are resolved before purchasing.

To add to your comments, in the short time I had this I also realized that if you're going to do any regular recording, such as to an SD card, the solar/battery functionality is worthless overnight. The battery capacity is so small that the stored power is exhausted down to 0% within just a few hours of the sun setting. The battery capacity would probably need to be 3-4x to actually stay powered overnight.

To have enough battery to stay powered overnight, I think you mean continuously recording. I got this model, including the solar panel, back when it came out and was on sale for around $100 for the kit. The app warns you that the battery won't last if you set it to continuously record. If you record only when motion activated, the battery lasts a couple weeks, depending on motion. With solar (I didn't immediately put up the solar panel) it lasted months until the sun angle changed enough in the sky that it wasn't getting but a few hours of sunlight.
Fyi, this camera actually uses radar to detect motion, not the camera, like an occupancy sensor. So it only picks up motion out to about 20 feet. That's why I don't care for the one I have, but it's part of the design, and others may have different use case that is better suited for. I had mine mounted in a tree looking at the front of the house, so the motion sensing just doesn't work well for that.
