works great, love the bullet ice. You can get an extra years warranty for $9, which I did, since mine runs 24/7. Simple operation, red light when needs water added, red light when "ice bin" full. I just break up ice by exit chute and it makes more. Ice melts and recycles it self. If having a party, keep transferring ice to ziploc bags for freezer. Makes enough ice for my daily consumption, and soooo much better than ice cube trays for the freezer.

we do the same except when we throw them in the bags, they freeze together in a big block. So we put them in the old school ice trays and let them freeze for a few minutes, then throw in bags.

They are "damp" when they come out of the machine, and they do freeze together, but I have found, a couple of drops on the countertop, breaks them apart, not perfect but most retain their bullet shape. Mine seems to make enough in the bin for our daily use. Anyway, recommended over alot of the no name brands, especially with the $9 warranty. Just take it to Best Buy and they give you a new one under warranty if it breaks down.
