You are not supposed to notice the effects of this product…similar to a statin drug reducing the deposits in your vascular system….the benefit is the absence of a problem.

What you want is a product that contains polyetheramine (PEA) and this product DOES contain it. However, Berryman Fuel System Cleaner also contains PEA, is 15 ounces vs 12 for this FSC and can be purchased for $5 when not on sale. My research shows using PEA cleansers 2-4 times per year is a reasonable cost to keep injectors clean.

This is only added to Top Tier gas. That doesn't mean it is an equivalent strength. Typically the Top Tier gas is considerably more money vs using this product before oil change. I but cheap gas such as Kroger using $1 off per gallon fuel points. The local Chevron station is $2.99/gal, I just filled 35 gallons @ $1.34/gal. So just that one fill paid for this product.

Chevron Techron is pretty good stuff. I will say this, it will not hurt to use it. I do one at every oil change, next fillup i pop one in the tank. I also use Costco gas as well.

i think apples to apples, this product for this price, around $6 a bottle when getting on sale, is a solid deal.
