Might not be the best price around, but for a newly announced laptop to already receive $250 discount - MSRP of $1,600 - not too bad.

This does not appear to have the new Arc integrated graphics that's been raved about on youtube for the last month and a half. It appears to be basic integrated graphics and you have to move up to the $2200 model to get Arc graphics. With that in mind I wouldn't touch this with someone else's wallet.

16+512 for $1350. I won't consider it even with an Arc. It would have taken nearly 8gb of memory as VRAM and leave you 8-12 for everyday use. 100% e-waste

It's now $1800 with the integrated arc graphics and 32gb of ram, 1tb hard drive.

That's still horrible value. There are regularly RTX 5070ti with Core Ultra 275HX and 32GB RAM for $1500 or less -the new Arc integrated graphics are slower than a 75w power-limited laptop RTX 4060.. quite-literally multiple weight-classes weaker on performance compared to a laptop RTX 5070ti. The only benefit the 300 series core-ultra chips offer vs a proper gaming laptop is battery-life/efficiency improvements -a 5070ti and 275HX gaming laptop with advanced optimus might get up to 8-hours off the wall for video playback and web-browsing, while the Core Ultra 5 325 here would get closer to 16 hours in this laptop. I don't think that makes it worth $1800 because it is dramatically less powerful than other fully-equipped $1800 laptops, but many will disagree and care more about the battery life than I do.
