its the phone that controls the charging not the charger...the phone decides when to resume charging not the charger. so of course the phone will resume charging when its lifted off then put back since that would force restart of the charge session.

I have this one, it's not very reliable, about 10% of the time of will just stop charging my device. Not sure why, but it's always annoying walking up and seeing my device not charged Frown

Same - I have a bunch of the ESR wireless chargers with built-in fans, and one of the ones I had gotten for my mom just decided to die.
Sadly, their prices have gone up by a ridiculous amount since I bought them, and I'm not paying $100 for a basic wireless charging stand, especially since she had it in her night stand for overnight charging, so the speed is a non-factor.

My Samsung S21 FE V2, allows me to set my battery charge to 80% max. This charger works perfect. Setting the charging level max at 80%, gives room to prevent overcharging by accident.
