I have one. It works ok but kind of slow to connect to the phone for replay and etc.
Main reason i got this is because it is small and very discreet. I don't think want some bozo breaking my window for my dashcam.
The problem with a dashcam without screen is you really don't know if it's working or not. My mini 2 was dead for several months and I didn't know it until one day I wanted to download a video and found all videos are just black screens.
I need dash cam that is powered by usb c. No cigarette plug in my car. Thanks.
You can alway swap out the default USB cable for one with a longer length or different connection. That's pretty easy and cheap. They also sell cheap little adapters to convert cable connectors to usb c or whatever connection you need, they're like $2-4 each.

The Viofo A119 Mini 2 is a better camera IMO. Garmin is ok but has lower quality video. But any working dash camera is better than none.
Yeah I don't understand why everyone doesn't have one, when the price point on a basic model is so low. Not worth the risk of a he said/she said situation. Not that a dashcam is 100% insurance against that, but it's almost crazy not to have.
I use this for my rear camera and it's good. It doesn't have night vision so the video at night can be a little dark but still very clear. There's no glare from headlights. The reason I stuck with the garmin dash cameras is because I already had a garmin for the windshield and I wanted the same brand. And they stand up really well in the summer in Arizona. I had cheaper cameras before and the heat fried them.
Voice control (which this has) would be a nice feature for at least a couple of cases:
+ rear-camera event recording since it would be out of reach;
+ discreet event recording (I was once accused of flipping off the driver in front of me when I pressed my dashcam's 'save' button).
Considering this for the rear window, how is it with headlights and would it be a good fit or an overkill? Luckily I do have USB nearby there already.
I have mini 2 in both my hondas with a tinted window in the rear....its basically the same cam minus gps built in and no polarized lens...the cams are great tbh..small footprint..and for the complainers on connectivity on wireless..just a get a 6 in 1 usb reader dongle so you can connect micro sd and get footage asap...they run like $4.
