Quick reminder that 60 days of returns means 60 days of price matching as well. They don't price match around Black Friday, but this has saved me a lot of money in the past.

FWIW I wasn't going to renew anyway , so this kept me around.

Edit: Cancelled my membership. Got $25 back in refund. Will wait for a couple of hours and sign-up again.

Edit2: Repurchased it for $24.99 15 minutes after cancellation.

I bought some Klispch Pro Media 5.1 in college. Sub stopped working. Klipsch's protocol at the time (still is AFAIK) is to have Best Buy swap it out and RMA it for you. The CEO at the time was also sleeping with his subordinates and eventually got ousted....
That said, they've been really good to me in recent years. I can't really hold a grudge against a company that has changed their ways for the better. That's sort of the best case scenario and exactly what we want to see from businesses, no? Them almost screwing me almost two decades ago has no actual bearing on whether this is a good deal or not.

what added warranty are you talking about? is it the extended 60 days return exhange window? thats not the added warranty.

Ok so what is the benefit of this again? I do not regularly shop at Best Buy but I will if this provides any real benefit. I don't care about 60 day returns instead of 30. Any other benefits?

It is actually 60 Days instead of 15 days(which is really bad return window for most). Also, other benefits are listed in the OP. If those don't move the needle for you then no reason to get it.
