Looks nice. But the solar component will not last, depending on your area.

In my area they typically last 2 seasons.

I live in northern Missouri. I've found that bringing these cheap solar panel decorations into the heated garage before it hits freezing and bringing them back out around mid April is making these things live twice as long. A few were bought in 2018 and still going strong. The ones I left out all winter only lasted 2 - 3 years and the battery turned to crap.

I do something similar since I live in a climate that has very long winters with little sun. I bring them in usually by the end of October and place them against the glass in my full-glass sun room so that they add some festive light to my sun room all winter long without exposing them to the harsh winter weather. I have had them for 3 full seasons so far and the 4th is coming soon.

Great idea, too! Thanks.
